How time flies!

With all of the changes, work and stuff going on in the past few months - I actually forgot about my blog!

What the?

Here is a quick synopsis of the past few months. I got really busy with a big contract, stopped to play a few poker tourneys on the way, got sick around Christmas and didn't recover until the middle of January, then got really busy again.

Yeah, that's about it!

Poker Growth?
I was working on some poker analysis over this past weekend when I realized how much my game has grown over the past year. I don't get caught in stupid hands anymore, and I find myself finishing very high in tourneys (especially online). Part of this is just experience. It's the knowledge of what can happen that justifies what will happen. Also, learning how to gracefully egress from a bad situation has become a new and vital feature of my game.

Not only does this enhance my poker game, but it allows me to enjoy the game a bit more since I am not finding myself in trap situations against good players as often.
